About Pat
“What can I do to help?” This question has motivated me throughout my life. Whether it was offering a mother’s advice to my children during difficult times, helping grieving friends
who had lost a loved one, or simply doing research online for a friend struggling with insomnia, I found purpose and happiness in helping others.
I was born and raised in Southbridge, Massachusetts, and lived for many years in Vermont with a loving husband and two great kids. I started several businesses and a temporary and
permanent placement agency which was successful for many years. However, like many of us, I struggled with stress and unhappiness, and took solace in food.
After my husband passed away, my weight had increased substantially, and I knew I had to make a big change. I moved to California to be near my daughter and started changing my
old habits, exercising more, and eating nutritious and healthy foods. These lifestyle changes made a difference, and I soon lost 56 pounds. I turned my life around and became a
happier and healthier person. Now the question was: “What can I do to help others?”
I created this website to motivate, inform and offer positive reinforcement. Living a healthy and happy life isn’t easy, and people always seem to be chasing after the next best thing. But
are they happier or healthier for it? My goal is to provide accurate and positive information about how to eat right, exercise and become healthy. I hope you enjoy this website as
much as I have enjoyed creating it. Please feel free to send me your feedback and suggestions. I would love to hear from you.
With best wishes,
